• Account Data: When you sign up, we collect your email address and password. Passwords are encrypted and securely stored using industry-standard hashing protocols.
• Workspace & Project Input Data: We collect the plain-language inputs you provide during onboarding and scanning, including your product name, product URL, target audience description, core problem solved, targeted country/market, and preferred marketing channels.
• Lead Tracker Data: We store the specific customer lead data you manually record within your workspace, which may include lead names, source platforms, outreach channels, pipeline status, and custom notes.
• Usage Logs & Activity History: We log information about your subscription plan status, credit usage, date of scans, and account changes to ensure your tier limits are accurately maintained.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect or Store

• Payment Card Information: All payment processing is handled externally and securely by our third-party gateway, Paystack. WispScout AI never sees, processes, or stores your credit card numbers, CVVs, or banking details. Paystack securely communicates transaction statuses back to us via encrypted webhooks.
• Public Social Feed Data: WispScout AI is a private, single-user workspace. We do not scrape, link, or track your public social media profiles, nor do we host any public feeds where your data is visible to other users.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect solely to power your private customer-acquisition experience:

• To process your inputs and generate custom buyer profiles, ranked online spaces, and tailored message hooks.
• To manage your account, verify your email, handle password resets, and authenticate your secure sessions.
• To track your credit allowances and subscription tier rules across our Free, Starter, Pro, and Growth plans via Paystack webhooks.
• To monitor and prevent fraudulent activity, unauthorized account sharing, or abuse of our system endpoints.

AI Processing Note: The project inputs you provide are processed algorithmically to generate research templates and marketing copy. Your data is strictly isolated on a per-account basis and is never used to train public machine-learning models.

4. Data Isolation and Third-Party Sharing

• Strict Per-Account Isolation: WispScout AI features rigid access controls. No user on the platform can ever view, search, or access another user's projects, scans, messages, or leads.
• Third-Party Service Providers: We do not sell or rent your business data to marketers. We only share information with trusted third-party sub-processors essential to operating the software, including:
  • Paystack: For subscription management and processing recurring billing.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Providers: Secure servers and databases used to host the Node.js application and your private workspace tables.
  • Transactional Email Services: To deliver system alerts, email verifications, and password reset links.

5. Security Measures

We implement a multi-layered security architecture to defend your data, which includes secure session handling, rate-limiting on authentication endpoints, strict input validation, and verified webhook signatures for all financial events coming from Paystack. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights: Data Retention and Deletion

We believe you should have absolute control over your competitive business data.

• Account Deletion: You can trigger a full account deletion directly from your account settings at any time.
• Permanent Purge: Upon processing a deletion request, WispScout AI permanently scrubs your user account row and automatically purges all associated projects, scans, buyer profiles, message logs, and lead tracking records from our active database tables.
